I know, it's supposed to be Wordless Wednesday. Well, Parke is doing this new thing where he likes to sit up during his entire nap in his crib so I've done a lot of "No, no Parke. It's time for night night". Lay him down, walk out of room- Repeat :). He also likes to fall asleep bent over in the sitting position which makes for a very short little snooze. So funny...right? So, no pic's of him today (b/c that's his punishment right?)! ha. I mean I really wish I could upload a pic from his monitor or have a secret little video in his room. He just talks the entire time too...and has thrown his paci overboard!
But this weekend and for a couple of weeks Blake and I have continued to work on our house and room. Our colors used to be darker and we have slowly...very slowly transitioned to lighter and brighter and I would say more neutral at times. We got new bedding for Christmas and with some money we also bought a new bed and side tables we have wanted for 6 years. It's been fun and we are gradually getting there.
Here is a little preview of our room and a few other things. I wish I could find before pic's...not going to go searching.

This is on our night stand. A little grey touch from Anthro and new lamps on both sides. |
I wanted you to see a close up of the throw b/c it is SO soft and you can see the little ruffle of the comforter. |
Here is a close up of pillows. I love the girly touch of the middle pillow. |
And here it is all together. I guess I could have captured a better pic of the bed itself.

We got this little mirror at HomeGoods and decided on a little greenery/flowers too. |
A little peek at the bed through the miror |
This shelf was red and in our room. Repainted white and now in the hall as functional. |
Our new family frames in our living room. This mirror used to be adorned with little plant like things on the side. We now have pic's instead. Newly painted old frames. |
Our bookshelf also had 50yr old molding around it. Blake took it off and instead added this molding to match our windows and trim. It made it a little bigger and now can hold some of Parke's toys. He can have the bottom shelves!

There is one more pic but it won't let me upload. We are still a little in progress but really happy with our little projects! Happy Wednesday.
