All things Christmas

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! It has been so fun to have Blake home from work these past couple of days and getting to see family! I love having a little 2 week "break". So this will be picture overload but it's Christmas, that's how it goes.

The first story I wouldn't have even shared except it was such a fun thing to watch and be a part of. We've lived in this house for 4  years (?) and haven't done this before (shame on us). We made a few treats like the picture below and took them to our neighbors with our Christmas card. It was fun to see a few of our "older" neighbors be so excited about it. We also learned a few things about a few of them too...anyway- Point being it kind of started a little giving trend and for the next couple of days we had the same neighbors stop by to give us treats with so much excitement and joy. It was a lot of fun to watch it all happen.

First we went to have Christmas at my parents house on Christmas Eve Day. Here is Parke with his BiBi and Papa.

Sweet Little Pic. I loved this shirt so much he wore it for both family Christmas's.

Uncle Ryan playing with Parke.

The girls had matching pajamas for the 3rd year. Such a fun little tradition. Hey, if my hubby won't match pj's with me why not do it with the girls in the family!

Our family pic at my parents.

Parke enjoying the tissue paper

One of his new presents. He loves things that light up and talk to him.
We had Christmas morning at our house with just the 3 of us. It's a tradition we hope to hold on to. We read the story of Baby Jesus in Luke 2 to Parke and prayed with him. It was very sweet. We then let him open his stocking and a little present from us. It's on video but we didn't capture it with still photo's. SHAME on me....Dang it.

We went to the Shipley's Christmas Day. Here is P playing with Aunt Lindsay

Playing with his MiMi

And finally a picture without me in pajama's! Ha
Merry Christmas!
