I have to brag on two products today. First, let me say that I have been impressed with Madewell time and time again! It all started when they moved into Northpark mall and I so happened to stop by. The clothes are mostly casual but tend to add a little feminine flair at times. In secret, when I see the adds I want someone to make me where exactly what the model is showing. Most of the time I don't have the guts to wear a lot of their stuff but in general, I like the whole store. Now, let me say it can be rather pricey. It's not exactly TJ Maxx. However, if you wait long enough the majority of stuff goes on sale at some point. It tends to be my "buy something nice b/c you know it will last long" store! On top of loving the clothes, any time I've ordered something from them it has come incredibly fast! Sure it says "3-6 business days" but I feel like most of the time it is at the 3 day mark, if that! And one more thing...you can take back what you don't like to the store. None of this, put it back in the exact envelope, go to the post office (with a baby which makes the trip 10x longer) and ship it by this date stuff...just a trip to the mall (where you are going anyway to get out of the house) and everything is done!
Second, let me brag on Aden+Anais. If you've had a baby or are going to have a baby I've probably mentioned these blankets to you. They are super soft, light weight and just a little more fun than your typical blanket. You can find them at BuyBuy Baby or maybe little boutiques. They are bigger than the average blanket which lends them to swaddle your baby even that much better. Recently, one of my little blankets ripped as I was swaddling Parke. I contacted their customer service and was replied to within a day. Yep, received an email within a day offering to replace my blanket. They said they would send me a 4pk to replace my 1 blanket. When they mentioned another kind of aden+anais that is a little thicker I asked if I could have that instead. They are generously sending me a replacement blanket-new and improved. I really wish the dream blanket came in adult sizes. Also, the bibs are a perfect burp rag and I was recently told it's the only bib that actually holds all the gross things that kids spit up! I would love to have a huge one to keep in the living room for movie nights, or Sara's coming over find a blanket night! What if they came in snuggies!! haha...
There you have it. My 2 loves for the day! Happy Weekend.
