4mo Old

How time fly's little one. As we sat in the overflow room at church (MUCH diff. at 5:30 than the 9:00) I saw babies who were 8mo old. They were sitting, crawling and looked so big. I am excited for that time, but know how quickly these last 4mo have gone as well. Oh to take in each day! I don't think I can possibly soak them in enough. Such sweet days.

Now, to say they are such sweet days is true. I will also say Parke has decided to well...I dunno- have sleep regression, not eat at all, eat every 2 hours etc...So I guess I would say, do his own thing! Before this past week I could have told you exactly what our day looked like and scheduled things as such. I read this is a natural thing that can happen at 4mo and I guess we will jump on board. So, every morning I pray to be able to respond in peace, go with the flow and please Lord give me enough milk for this child today! He hasn't had his 4mo check up b/c I received my tetanus shot and Im not convinced he didn't get any side effects from it. I react VERY poorly- temp for 48 hours and my arm red with heat for 6 days. He will go in 2 weeks.

Since I don't have stats from the doctor I'll give you my own.

Beginning to be shy around some or even pout/cry at strangers

Giggle when being tickled

Talk yourself to sleep and play/talk when you wake up

Learning to sit in your bumbo

Doing much better at tummy time and occasionally roll but not enough to announce "he's rolling over"

He is growing out of 3-6mo clothes and into 6-9mo jammies

Falls asleep with his arm over his face. He always did this in his sono pictures and right after he was born so it is sweet to see.

He has 2 hickies on his arm from sucking on his arm as he goes to sleep, or just b/c??

Puts EVERYTHING in his mouth!
