This post is not about Parke, it's about the project left undone the day Parke arrived. So here is the deal- the rug below is what I need to replace? Why- well several reasons but one being it doesn't belong anymore. I would like to go with COLOR in my house and for the colors to be fun. I started replacing a few things and it all started the day the SILK drapes got washed :)
I don't want to spend a ton on a rug or I would go to Anthro...Where oh Where do I find a new rug? And dare I say...what color should I paint my dining room (it's brown).

New lamp shade instead of making it myself (still need other lamp shade)
Pillows bought long ago but prompted the new grey theme.
Other pillow. I need more of the orange color below. I wouldn't mind other colors as well since we are mostly seeing grey around here. I love Amy Butler fabric but not sure where to go from here.
What would you do?

Hey this is Kayla, Veronica's sister. I am on a gray kick and i just want to say that i painted my sewing room with 24" wide vertical stripes in charcoal (and they are dark) and 2 shades lighter, it is beautiful! i love it. super dark but wonderful. i want to paint the whole house gray.
