Happy Dad's day, love. Every year I have had the privilege of celebrating my own Dad. I still honor and love him today and celebrate him. I am also incredibly thankful to celebrate you today. I've told you before but I love your hands. I love this picture because it represents so many things to me. Your hands are strong, they work on the yard, they work hard every day, they show love and support and they are tender with our new little one. I know in the coming years you will not be able to hold Parke the way you do in this picture but you will forever support and guide him. You will also play with him, act goofy with him and use those same hands for discipline.
The Lord has given you so many characteristics to pass on to our child. You are a man who is humble, kind, you have a gift of discernment, and you love our family so incredibly well. You have a heart of gold. You love and honor the Lord well and continue to grow and be challenged by men around you to pursue Christ even more. These same hands have supported me over the last 6 years and especially over the last 2. I celebrate you today, love. For the Dad you are today and for the Dad you will continue to grow to be.
I love you.
