This last week 1/2 off of work has flown by. However, I feel like I've been away for a month. For the most part I've kept myself very busy with my "to do" list. It's awesome to finally get a few things done around here. By the end of the day I'm exhausted and ready to rest. I've also tried to listen to my body when it says stop and go ahead and rest or read instead of plowing ahead.
Blake helped me last week and we took everything out of the kitchen, figured out what we had way too much of (like 22 coffee mugs), re-organized the cabinets and put what was left back in. That was awesome. Second, I did the same thing to our linen closet/cabinets in the hall. Everything out- figure out what we need- everything back in, re-organized.
A few fun things that I've been able to do is make a book of my blogs and order our baby book. I decided I've done most of my journaling through infertility and miscarriage on my blog so I wanted to go ahead and put it in a book to keep. I was able to complete the year 2008 and will wait for it to come in before moving forward with the following years. You can go to blurb.com to check it out. They actually have a blog-to-book option which I'm looking forward to using.
My baby book is being made by my friend Emily's sister in law. You can go here to check it out. I've seen them in person and can't wait to get mine in the mail. It may not make it before baby comes but that's okay. I'll have time to do it after, hoping to get the footprints in it though!
Finally, we are in the last week of waiting for this baby....or so the due date says. I'm feeling pretty good for the most part and enjoying every day being pregnant. Tired-but enjoying it. My bag is finally mostly packed and the carseat is in the car. We're ready whenever the Lord decides it's this little one's birthday!
We will keep you posted!
