To Blink

Dear Parke,

I can't get enough of you. We can't possibly take enough pictures to stop time or to "blink" and remember every little thing. I'm soaking it all in little one, and loving every second. Am I emotional, yep, hormonal...yep and so incredibly thankful for you. It is so fun being your mom. You are a great baby. You are sweet and even give me adequate sleep most nights. I'm enjoying these first few weeks of it being just our little family in this house on survival mode. I can't wait for you to spend time with others but for now, I'll take you all to myself :)

Praise the Lord BB (my mom) has been here taking care of me since all I have capacity for is

you. She makes the house work and makes me rest so I'm not completely insane. Your dad loves, loves spending time with you. He has worked on an off this week which I am incredibly

grateful for. I will get to spend time with you because he works, thank you Lord. He is goofy with you and had the magic touch to take over and help you with your little tummy last night. He takes great care of you.

You love bath time and could probably sit in it all day. I think it reminds you of the good ole' days! Today you peed all over me while I was feeding you. I had just looked at your diaper and thought "I need to change that he will pee right out of it" and I was correct, pee-you did! You are also learning to make quite the noise while pooping- you make me laugh. And yes, I'm writing about your diapers....
