Showered

This past weekend was my baby shower. It was perfect. The Lord chose to cool us off that day with the weather but that is probably my own fault praying I wouldn't be too hot! (just like the wedding). Here is your invitation to my shower....

I think I may have written about this before but I really wish I could have had a thank you shower for all my friends. For everyone who has walked our journey of infertility/miscarriage and prayed us through it. Instead, all of my friends and family were generous in throwing us a shower and giving us gifts. I loved the time I got to spend with everyone.
The girls asked everyone to bring a book. It was such a great idea. I have a whole basket full of books. I can't wait to read them all with our baby.

The girls were thoughtful in making all of my favorite things. Breakfast food- salty and sweet!

We haven't done an official "guess" on this blog but here are a few guesses of what the baby will look like, when he/she is coming and if it's a boy or girl! Looks like BOY wins.

Finally, a picture of everyone. A few people slipped out before I thought to do this. I also really wanted to introduce every person who came because I had people from all walks of life. To name a few, Chandy from out of town, Madi/Natalie who I've known my whole life, the Phillips who are life long friends and then of course my friends/family I am blessed to see more often. We are incredibly blessed to be surrounded by this group of people and their families. You wanna know one of the coolest parts- when we got pregnant all of these people's prayers were answered. Some walked similar roads with me and others simply held my hand through the whole thing. BUT all of them prayed, and the Lord has been faithful. I love them dearly.
