Today marks the beginning of the 10 week countdown! I thought it would be appropriate to celebrate with a cupcake and candle today but I never made it to a cupcake place! I can't believe I have 10 weeks left. I'm treasuring every day until the end. I love being pregnant with this child. The first 12 weeks I held my breath, the second 12 weeks I enjoyed the first movements and my growing belly, and these last 12 weeks I hope to journal and prepare for this little one to come into this world. It's still amazing to me that this child will be here someday soon. Unbelievable!!
I was asked if I had started a journal or anything for the baby. I hadn't. When 28 weeks hit I thought about writing in the last trimester. So today, the start of week 30 I am going to start writing. There is a journal I've been saving b/c I wanted to use it for a special purpose and so I'll use it for this. It's smaller so it won't be so intimidating!
The journal will mark my prayers and thoughts for the remainder of the pregnancy. I sometimes turn my reading into prayers and that is what I did with John 10 for the baby today. It talks about the Shepherd and the sheep. I pray this child will know the voice of the Lord at an early age. It is a great chapter to pray for this little one...check it out.
That is all. My shower is coming quickly and I'm excited to celebrate with those who have prayed for us over these last couple of years. I'm so blessed to have the friends/family I have!
